NURSERY
The Nursery is a space that provides a quiet room for moms and their babies. This room gives an opportunity for both moms and babies to fellowship with one another while the older children are attending classes. A ‘Nursery Helper’ will be available to care for the little ones during the first hour, giving mothers the opportunity to attend the Moms’ Devo and Prayer. Moms will join their children in the Nursery after Moms’ Devo & Prayer.

PRIMARY
The Primary Class provides a Montessori-inspired environment that guides and supports children in all areas of developmental learning through the implementation of a Biblically-based curriculum. The classroom includes several learning centers with hands-on activities that are specifically designed to:  

-Lengthen attention span
-Strengthen ability to concentrate
-Develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
-Control and coordination of movement
-Phonics-based reading and writing awareness
-Concrete math concepts
-Geography
-Hospitality

Learning centers allow children to develop the fear of the Lord in daily life skills as they learn to care for themselves, care for others, and care for their classroom. These skills cultivate a love of learning and are the foundations for all future learning.

EARTH SCIENCE
This laboratory-based earth science course covers the general properties of the earth's geosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere. The children will study Earth's interconnected systems: the solid Earth (geosphere), oceans (hydrosphere), air (atmosphere), and life (biosphere). They will be introduced to concepts that use physics, chemistry, biology, and math to answer big questions about our planet.

CULINARY CLASS
The Culinary Class provides hands-on opportunities to explore simple culinary theory, including basic cooking techniques, healthy nutrition, recipes, math, science, and hospitality infused with Scripture. Each child will be creating their own cookbook to take home at the end of the course. The learning center will be in our Coastlands professional kitchen. We will be working together on other practical projects such as an herb garden, preparing foods, and learning hospitality as we share some of our cooking at our community lunch in the Calvary Café.

AMERICAN HISTORY: THE CIVIL WAR (Full Year Course)
This history course will offer short, concise reading lessons with several hands-on projects that drive each lesson home in a creative way. The lapbooks we create in class are designed to advance penmanship, vocabulary, creative writing, composition, critical thinking and imagination! This full year course will FAST TRACK your middle school student on their transcripts. Yes! This history course counts towards one full year of three that are needed to complete their students' High School Transcripts.

This course is your first step to becoming a safe, responsible driver, covering NJ road rules, defensive driving, risk management, and the dangers of distracted driving and impaired driving to help you pass your permit test and navigate the state's graduated licensing system. Get ready to learn vital skills from vehicle basics to accident prevention, all while preparing for your official NJ learner's permit and beyond.

The ‘Mom’s Devo and Prayer Time’ provides a space to slow down and spend some Mom-time together. A time in the Word of God, a bit of encouragement, and a Godly perspective always bring times of refreshing. Too often we forget Motherhood is a high call and a high privilege in the midst of our fatigued and busy lives. It is our prayer that this will be a time that will inspire you, encourage you, deepen your faith, and develop loving friendships.

Parents may also utilize the Café while their children are in class for personal work or fellowship. WiFi will be provided. Each family needs to bring their own lunch. Coffee and Tea will be provided. The Chapel Store will be open.

Grab your passports! We are taking a trip around the world! The children will explore diverse countries and cultures while learning geography. They will be encouraged to see the world in a new way as they are challenged by true stories of missionaries, God’s Kingdom, and our part.

The Art of Writing: Cursive & Keyboarding
In an increasingly digital world, cursive handwriting has become a lost art. This course revives cursive as a valuable and often overlooked skill that strengthens fine motor coordination, focus, and memory retention. Students will also accomplish the skill to type efficiently using the blind typing method through muscle memory. Emphasis will be placed on accuracy and professionalism, building lifelong skills that support academic achievement and career readiness.
